About Me
My Background
I was born in the Dallas / Fort Worth area in 1987. Since grade school, I've been performing on and off stage. My first love was live theatre, followed pretty quickly by writing fictional stories. As I got older, skateboarding, acting, breakdancing, 3D art and music all became different ways to get ideas out of my head and into the world.
In my late teens I was entering skateboarding competitions and playing music gigs around town. In my early 20s I came back to acting in a serious way, majored in Acting Performance at a college in Dallas, graduated in 2012 and later joined the Kim Dawson Agency, where I was cast in commercials, industrials and an independent film.
I started putting much more energy into my YouTube work, and those projects eventually grew into Eric's Tech World, Eric Skateboards and Eric's Sidequests, each giving me a place to explore a different part of what I'm into. In September 2026 I published my first full novel.
I also work professionally in marketing and design, with experience in video editing, web design, digital marketing, lead generation, social media, operations, copywriting and creative production. The common thread through all of it is storytelling: finding the thing that makes an idea interesting, then figuring out the best way to communicate it.
