Carl Sagan, to me, was a scientist unlike any other. When I watch past videos and read his words, I'm always forced to lean back in my chair in amazement. He was an amazing educator, speaker, and scientist. Not only did he spread the importance of logic and imagination, but he furthered our knowledge of the cosmos (mostly in our own cosmic backyard).
The series below, captures and displays his passion for science and humility. I encourage you all to take 31 minutes and 46 seconds out of your day to break free of a worldly view, and national view, or a personal view, and embrace a cosmic perspective. I don't mean this in a "new age spirituality" kind of way, but in a "our national conflicts, societal and racial differences, and financial variations are unimportant when viewed from this scale" kind of way.
